This post is definitely making me want to hunt out a vintage fair/market to dress up for and attend now. I love your purchases, especially the fringe necklace and how you've styled the turban into a modern outfit. Very cool.
This was such an enjoyable read! Seeing what people wear at these types of events is half the fun! Your look was stellar, too. I loved the things you ended up getting. Your tassel necklace reminds me of an old 1970s Hobé tassel necklace that I have but haven't worn in ten years. I will have to look for it!
(I can't help myself and I'm so anal about these things sometimes, I have to note that judging by the shape of its manufacturing labels, the white lace blouse can't be from the 1920s, but it's probably a 1970s or 80s replica.)
The people-watching is gold! I loved all the things you picked out as well. Agree that experiencing fashion in person is so great, there is just no substitution for the visual and tactile experience.
The black and white cuff is stunning and I love the brooches you found. People watching at vintage fairs is so fun- I always dress for them. Big fan of your style!💕
Thanks Sheila! The black and white bangle almost came home with me, only it was slightly large on my wrist so I had to let it go after trying it several times. Hope it finds a good new home!

Thanks Mel! Dressing up for vintage market is definitely fun, especially when you see like-minded individuals all flashing with characters!
Love seeing the individual styles you captured — incredible!
That’s my favourite part, too!

Oh my, how could I have overlooked the labels 🤣 Thank you for pointing this out Tiia! Glad you enjoy reading this edit!

Perhaps when it comes to vintage fashion, our standard to sense pleasure is even higher!

Same issue here, Chris-skinny wrists!
